Drive times from Long Point Road on a normal weekday morning. Past the edge — Awendaw, Goose Creek, Ladson, Summerville, West Ashley, James Island — Wes gives a fair estimate on timing rather than a promise.
Mount Pleasant itself and Daniel Island ride the home loop — ten minutes in any direction, first slots of every day. The rest ride planned runs: the north run up Highway 17 timed away from school traffic, the island run down the connector and over the Ben Sawyer timed to bridge openings and beach traffic, the Ravenel run onto the peninsula with parking settled by phone, and the 526 west batch to Hanahan timed away from the Rivers Avenue crawl. A warm refrigerator or a cold dryer jumps the queue on any run.
